Magdalene Idiang is a Pan-African feminist, activist and writer from Nigeria, committed to advancing environmental, climate, and gender justice across the continent. With over five years of experience working at the intersection of feminist movement-building, environmental/climate justice campaign, popular education and women’s liberation Magdalene has developed and strengthened networks within Nigeria, across Africa, and globally. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Leadership and Governance, where her academic research explores the historical and contemporary dynamics of extractive capitalism and its impact on women’s roles in peacebuilding across Africa.
