Gontse is a human rights activist with a history of HIV and AIDS activism, social movement organising work, gender activism & feminist writing. She has worked for various national and international NGOs in the development sector since 2005 including Hivos, SAIIA, Khanya College and The AIDS Consortium. Gontse holds qualifications in the Social Sciences and Information sciences and has a background in information management work. She is currently pursuing an Honours Degree in Sociology through UNISA. At WoMin, Gontse holds the important portfolio of Information and Knowledge formation, where she is custodian of the organisational information systems and processes.
