Community activists from across South Africa and their allies tell South Africa’s Parliament to stop funding the DRC’s Grand Inga Dam Project. South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) are almost 3500 kilometers apart. But the two countries have ambitious plans – that is for the DRC to supply power to South Africa through a proposed hydroelectric dam called the Grand Inga Dam Project. The project is already having a negative impact on communities that live alongside the Congo River in the DRC. Watch as activists take on parliament decision makers and make their voices heard.
