Caroline has worked on human rights, women’s rights and environmental justice for more than nine years. Through her organising and movement building work, she played a role in the building of the Women Affected by Mining
United in Action (WAMUA) movement. She has been a strong advocate for communities’ right to healthy environment, clean water and has organised for women’s voices to be heard in decision making process, access to information and leadership. Caroline has also worked for Benchmarks Foundation, ActionAid South Africa and is a founder of Vaal Environmental Justice. She holds a certificate on Environmental Management, Environmental law and Communication.
