Amber has over 25 years of financial management expertise working in non-government organizations (NGOs) in South Africa and on the continent. She started her career in an auditing firm specializing in NGOs and trade unions. Subsequently, she worked as financial manager for two of the biggest NGOs in South Africa for 12 years before opening her financial management consulting practice. She serves on the Board of Ditikeni, a broad-based black empowerment company set up by numerous NGOs in 1999 and currently chairs their Audit Committee. Amber is passionate about the NGO sector and is committed to using her skills to strengthen it.
